How we got to be located in Juneau:
Pastor Curt and Janet Zeise felt the need to pray for Juneau for many years while passing through on their way back and forth between home (at that time) to Appleton and the south eastern part of Wisconsin. God called Curt and Janet into the ministry and told each of them at seperate locations that Curt was to be a pastor. The dreams of Pastor Curt and Janet are to love the hurting, broken, poor and lonely. Pastor Curt, Janet and family have lived in the Juneau area since 2003 and planted the Church in Juneau in 2002. Our desire at the Heart Community Church is see the captive set free, the deaf hearing, the blind seeing, the lame walking, the broken loved, and to realize the heartbeat of God is to be our heartbeat. It's time for the Church to love like Jesus does. John 15:13 states "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."
Our Name
"Foursquare" is a Biblical term used of the tabernacle in the Book of Exodus, of the Temple of the Lord in Ezekiel 40:47, and of Heaven, as described in the book of the Revelation. The term "Foursquare Gospel" was given in the inspiration of revival to the denomination's founder, Aimee Semple McPherson, during an evangelistic campaign in Oakland, Calif., in 1922. It represents that which is equally balanced on all sides, established and enduring. Such confidence in the power of the Gospel is also expressed by the verse, Hebrews 13:8, displayed in Foursquare churches proclaiming, "Jesus Christ the Same, Yesterday and Today and Forever."
The name represents the four-fold ministries of Jesus:
